Description
Suggested ages 7 & up . Based on photos of footprints of varying sizes and shapes, children will generate a sketch and description of the animal they believe it belongs to. Then, in small groups, children will craft a Choose Your Own Adventure story of their animal characters together. Children will:
- Collaborate to write a cohesive second-person adventure story, which includes brainstorming, synthesizing ideas in large and small groups, co-constructing a narrative, and re-reading drafts for revision
- Practice how characters make choices in response to details and events
- Become published authors at the end of the program!
